Let My Wish Come True Tonight
Be careful of what you wish for.
Kudos to whoever pointed out this simple statement to the world. Trust
me, he/she was not kidding for I had my taste of rotten wishes come
true a week ago. You see, when I was in the US, Mum bought me this
really really really really nice coat, which obviously can only be worn
during the cold. But what is cold in the Pinas? WALA!
Except perhaps in Baguio, but I don't live in Baguio... so there.
Anyway, that coat was pretty pricey so I prayed to God and asked him to
bless the Pinas with rain so I could use it without looking completely
out of place. And grant it, he did. There was a f'in typhoon when I
arrived in Manila. Billboards were destroyed, trees were falling
down, random objects were flying in the air, heavy traffic (come to
think of it, it doesn't really count considering it's Manila)... It was
mad, I tell you. It was payback for being so selfish. Needless to say,
I got to wear my coat. Oh, and did I mention that electricit...

Back From Hibernation

My Multiply account has been alive for months but this is still my first
post. Numero uno, maahn. This is long overdue, I know, I know. You see,
I desperately need a hobby this summer. Blogging seems to be the only
option since I'll be gone for about a month and even if I'm not home, I
could still continue blogging.

My previous blog, which I loved very dearly, went into a coma for a
couple of months until I finally decided that euthanasia was the
solution. So, I deleted it seeing as to nobody was paying attention to
it anymore. Even me. And maybe this blog will go through the same fate
too, who knows? Ok, maybe it will once I go back to school. But stick with me while I'm still here, okay?

Cheers.
